NeLT: Object-oriented Neural Light Transfer

This paper presents object-oriented neural light transfer (NeLT), a novel representation of the dynamic transportation between an object and environment. Our method disentangles global illumination (GI) scene into individual objects’ represented via networks, then composes them explicitly. It, therefore, enables flexible rendering with lighting, cameras, materials, objects. features various important effects, such as diffuse illumination, glossy shadowing, indirect which completes capability existing representation. Experiments show that NeLT does not require path tracing or shading results input but achieves quality comparable to state-of-the-art frameworks, including recent deep learning-based denoisers.
